Following the success of the Grossdeutschland's attack, another assault was launched against the Soviets. The mechanized force pushed north up the road to Kirovograd, hoping to permanently open a route into the city by securing the village of Karlovka.
Objectives: Your company is tasked with capturing the village of Karlovka. Your platoon is deployed in the center of the company battleline, and will move north along the road to the village of Karlovka. As the flanking platoons of the company attempt to envelop the enemy south of the village, your platoon will furnish support fire. Your platoon will then move on to take the village. One platoon of Panzerjager are deployed on the left flank of the company, and will attempt to move to a flanking position outside of Karlovka. Be aware of the antitank ditches south of Karlovka, and of the KV-85 heavy tanks that oppose you.
